Chris D'Aquila
Chris is a regular competitor on several bass tournament circuits. During the 2008 and 2009 seasons he competed in the following circuits: Bass Fishing League (BFL), SuperBass, Anglers in Action and Media Bass.
In 2007 Chris qualified for the BASS Federation Tournament on Lake of the Ozarks and finished second in a field of over 300 anglers. That same year he qualified for the BASS State Team and competed in the Regional Tournament on Lewis and Clark Lake in South Dakota.
While competing in the Bass Fishing League (BFL) tournaments Chris has finished in the top 15 three times, including two top-ten finishes. He has also qualified for the BFL Regional Championship in the Ozark Division.
Chris also competes in several open and charity tournaments each year. He has first place finishes in the Roofers Mart, Huntington Disease and Sunny Hill Charity tournaments in the past.
Chris is an angler who likes to cover a lot of water during a competition. He targets active bass and doesn’t stay in one place very long. His favorite lures are topwater, spinnerbaits and crankbaits. He will use a jig when necessary but presents it to specific targets while moving on quickly.
Competing in bass tournaments for over 18 years he brings a lot of knowledge to the Midwest Fishing Tackle Pro-Staff. His favorite waters include Lake of the Ozarks and Table Rock Lake.
He will begin to share some of this knowledge with others at our affiliate site Bass Fishing Midwest in early 2010.
